NEWSPAPER OBITUARY - August 13, 1953 - Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Edna Litts, 69, wife of Fred Litts, died at her home at 3737 17th Ave. South, St. Petersburg, Florida, Tuesday evening following an illness of four months. Funeral services were held from the Foster Funeral Home Monday at 2 pm with the Rev. James N. Pauley, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was made at Daysville Cemetery. Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Donald, Clarence and Robert, all of Pulaski; seven grandchildren and a brother Charles Vanderbilt of Newark, New York. Mrs. Litts was born in Lyons, October 24, 1883, a daughter of Austin and Maria Jennings Vanderbilt. She was united in marriage to Mr. Litts on May 22, 1912. She had lived on their farm at Port Ontario for many years until about eight years ago when they moved into the village. Since that time they have spent their winters at their St. Petersburg home and returning to Pulaski for the summer. Mrs. Litts was unable to return to Pulaski this year because of ill health.
