He was born May 18, 1933, in Corbin, the son of Foister and Nora Norvill Walden.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked at General Motors.
His parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughters, Tammie Helen (Denis) Wagovich of Miami, Fla., and Tonya Kay (Travis) McPhetridge of East Bernstadt;
sister Marjorie Asher of Tomsbrook, Va.; and
grandchildren, Kaitlyn Christine Wagovich, Kylie Ann McPhetridge and Jaden Reece McPhetridge.
Masonic services were at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2009.
Military honors were conducted by the local DAV.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at House-Rawlings Funeral Home, with Brother Ronnie Owens officiating.
Burial was at Rough Creek Cemetery in London.
