Mrs. Clara E. Walden
Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Elizabeth Walden, 68, Route 4, Keavy, who died at 7:30 p.m. June 26, at her residence, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bowling-Walker Funeral Home by the Rev. David Hilton. Interment was in the Walden Cemetery, Cane Creek.
Pallbearers were Noel Turner, W.G. Henderson, Hiram Cassidy, Clarence Killion, Scott R. Henderson and Ira Sanders.
Mrs. Walden, a native of Baltimore, Md.; was born March 9, 1902, the daughter of William E. and Clara Trevitt Johnson. She was married Dec. 25, 1921, in Westerville, Ohio, to W.M. Walden, who survives. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Westerville, Ohio.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Walden leaves a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Gorman, Anchorage, Alaska, and three grandchildren.
