Flora was pioineer of Seattle and oneof it's first telephone operators. She was born in Sac City, Iowa and came out to Seattle with her parents; Mr & Mrs Henry Walker in 1888. They lived in a tent at alki beofre there was a house to move into. Mrs. Stolz attended the old Denny School. As a young woman she took the old tugboat "Maude" on Lake Union and road a horsecar to get to twon. She died after a long illness leaving her husband Theodore Navlet and a daughter Mrs. Geraldine Jones. Her grandchildren were; Mrs Betty Ann Lemargle, Larry DeCeasar,and Jack M. Navlet.
