Mandie Walker Holder, 67, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at John F. Keever Solace Center.

She was a native of Newport, Tenn., and a daughter of the late Charles and Martha Clarindie Johnson Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Charlton Holder, who died in 1980. Mandie was employed by Mills Manufacturing as a sewing machine operator for 15 1/2 years, retiring in July 2005. She loved crocheting, gardening and spending time with her family. Mandie had a special place in her heart for her grandchild, Ivory.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Michelle Eatmon and her husband, Shane, of Candler; son, Robert Holder, of Etowah; and grandchild, Ivory Lane Holder.

The graveside service will be held at Green Hills Cemetery in Asheville, with Pastor Chuck Waldrup officiating.

The family will receive friends at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.
