A 64-year resident of Sacramento County, Gussie was a charter member and past Oracle of Camp 7739 Royal Neighbors of America of Elk Grove, as well as a 32-year member of the Eastern Star, and member of the Elk Grove Grange No. 86 and Sacramento Pomona Grange. She was survived by her son Sacramento County Supervisor E. Henry Kloss, two grandsons, and four great-grandsons. She was pre-deceased by her husband August whom she had married August 9, 1912.
