Shirley K. (Watson) Barker, age 85, passed away peacefully March 17, 2010 at Maefair Health Care Center, following a long illness. Shirley was the widow of Cecil W. Barker Sr. Born in Bridgeport on April 14, 1924, Shirley was the daughter of the late William J. and Catherine (Muldoon) Watson. Shirley was employed by G.E., where she met, her one and only true love, Cecil, and was married for 60 years. Shirley is survived by her devoted children, daughter, Marylou Cyr and late husband, Greg of Arizona; daughter, Ruth Eisenbach and late husband, Darvin of Bridgeport; daughter, Priscilla Pabon and husband, Victor of Bridgeport; daughter, Shirley Smith and husband, Raymond of Waterbury; and a son, David R. Barker and wife, Anna of Monroe. Shirley was prede-ceased by a son, Cecil W. Barker Jr. and a daughter, Catherine Barker. Shirley is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchild-ren; a brother, William Watson and wife, Pat of Fairfield; two nephews. She was also predeceased by a sister, Ruth Ferranti of Shelton. Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. in The Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. A prayer service will follow at 8 p.m in the funeral home. A graveside service will be held in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull on Monday, March 22, 2010, at 11 a.m.
