WINSLOW—Funeral service for Mrs. Charles Brandt, 68, of Winslow will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Winslow. Mrs. Brandt, a schoolteacher in Stephenson County for nearly 50 years, died Tuesday in a Freeport hospital. The former Mildred Webster was born Feb. 23, 1884, in Cadiz Township, Green County, Wis., the daughter of David and Ella (Ballenger) Webster. She was married to Charles Brandt at Winslow in 1903. She attended Dixon College and Northern Illinois State Teachers College at DeKalb.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters. Miss Bonita Brandt at home and Mrs. Jesse Cotherman of Bloomington, Ill; one brother, Stanley Webster of Chicago; and two grandchildren. Rev. Richard Coleman, pastor of the Winslow Evangelical United Brethren Church, will officiate and burial will be in Rock Lily Cemetery. Friends may call at the Burington Funeral Home in Orangeville until 11 a.m. Friday.
