Frances Catherine Cheadle

Frances Catherine Cheadle, widow of Earl E. Cheadle, died Sunday in an Olympia hopistal. Mrs. Cheadle, the former Frances Weier, was born in Lockport, Illinois, February 26, 1885, and moved to Washington in 1907. She was married in Olympia five years later and lived for many years in Ranier. The family moved to a home in East Olympia in 1949 and Mr. Cheadle died there in 1959. Mrs. Cheadle lived on Route Four (Box 290-A1). She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Surviving are two sons, Gerald, Eureka, California, and Raymond, Bow; three daughters, Mrs. Dolores Pless, Bremerton; Mrs. Phyllis Harmer and Mrs. Anna Jean Peirpoint, both Olympia; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandson. A requiem mass will be said in St. Michael's Catholic Church this Wednesday morning starting at nine-thirty o'clock. A rosary will be said in the church this Tuesday evening, starting at seven-thirty o'clock. Burial will take place in Olympia under the direction of Mills and Mills.
