HILL, Alice Elizabeth 87, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2009. She was born February 1, 1922 in Springfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late George and Mabel (Folck) Weigel. Alice was a member of the Convenant Presbyterian Church and was also a Past Deaconess. She loved going to the swimming pool at the Springfield Country Club where she was a member for at least 60 years. Alice loved sports, especially Ohio State, enjoyed playing Bridge and Scrabble, and traveling to Florida with her late husband every Spring. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mabel Weigel and husband, Jack Hill. She is survived by her daughter of Columbus, OH; two sons and daughters-in-law; brother and sister-in-law; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Alice's life will be held on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 1 PM with a visitation one hour prior at JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME-Springfield. Rev. Ray Stewart officiating. Interment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 3380 Tremont Rd. Columbus, OH 43221 or a charity of your choice.
