In 1965 he was married to Betty Jean Terry of Sacramento, Calif., where the couple made their home. He was a longtime member of Siloam Masonic Lodge 976 at Oklahoma City. Okla., and 1.0.0.F. Lodge 90 of Knoxville. Special Masonic services were held in Sacramento.
Howard Passed away January 25, 1975 in Sacramento, California, following an apparent heart attack.
His parents and a sister, Thelma preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; two brothers, Myron and Wyatt Welch of Knoxville; and one sister, Mrs. Vera Van Gilst of Killduff.
