Elizabeth Bramble, 80, of Essex, died Oct. 18, 1985 at Garden View Care Center in Shenandoah following a three month illness. She was born Jan. 4, 1905, a daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Meads) Welch.
On April 6, 1923 she married Lawrence Bramble and the couple lived in the Clarinda area for several years, later moving to Essex. She was employed at Mt. Arbor nursery in Shenandoah for 30 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Shenandoah and member of the American War Mothers. Survived by 6 children, 23 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren.
