Pamela Bailey, 57, of Waupun, died Sunday, October 12, 2008, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Pam was born January 20, 1951, in Waupun, the daughter of Walter and Gertrude Hodgins Welk. On July 29, 1972, she married Jerry Bailey in Waupun.
She was a beautician in the Waupun area for most of her life. Pam's hobbies included camping and crocheting. She loved going to the grandkid's sporting events and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Pam is survived by: her husband, Jerry Bailey of Waupun; two daughters, Sarah (Jamie) Beek of Waupun and Heidi Bailey of Waupun; a son, Jeremy Bailey of Waupun; three grandchildren, Spencer and Cameron Beek and Zander Bailey; three sisters, Kathy Welk of Waupun, Sharon (Ray) Roets of Waupun and Karen (Ron) Anderson; a brother, Wally Welk of Waupun; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law and an infant brother.
A funeral Mass for Pamela Bailey will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waupun with Fr. Michael Sturm officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waupun.
Relatives and friends may call on the family at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun on Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. and at church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
