She was a member of the Georgetown Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women, sang in the choir, and taught Sunday School. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, yard work, flowers and reading.
She was the devoted wife of Mason F. Druck, Jr., with whom she would have celebrated 70 years of marriage this year. Dorothy was Mason's Precious Soul and he was grateful to God for the gift of her. She was a beautiful, loving mother to her daughters Jayne McVey of Middleton and Sheila Druck of Baltimore and Lancaster. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and sister, Evelyn, wife of George Grumelli of Bart. She was preceded in death by 9 siblings.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 22nd, at the Georgetown United Methodist Church, 1070 Georgetown Road, Bart, PA at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Mike Sigman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a viewing on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, PA and again on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
