Sturgis --- Funeral services for Helena Weisz, 89, who died Saturday at the Sturgis Community Nursing home here will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gerald Christopherson officiating.
Mrs. Weisz was preceded in death by her husband.
She was married to Emanuel Weisz at Scotland July 12, 1903 and moved to North Dakota where they farmed in the Rhame area until 1934 when Mr. Weisz died.
She moved to the Sturgis area in 1938 and had lived here since.
She is survived by seven children, Leonard, Helmuth and Ernest Weisz, all of Sturgis, Hugo of Shoshoni, Wyo.; Mrs. Irene Bowen, Mrs. Selena Erickson of Sturgis and Olga Lamb of Rhame, N.D.
She was preceded in death by one son, Lawrence, five brothers and three sisters.
