ADAMS, MARY JOSEPHINE, MRS., b. 07-30-1863, Poplarville, MS, d. 01-31-1957, Bogalusa, LA, Adams Cemetery, Bogalusa, LA, w/o A. H. ADAMS, d/o JOSEPH E. WHEAT, b. Poplarville, MS and HARRIET WINNINGHAM, b. ALA
∼Mary Josephine Wheat Adams was my great grandmother. She had twins, Florence Elizabeth Adams (Boone) and Norman Adams. They were born November 7, 1887. Great Grandma was a wonderful lady. Even though she was blind in her later years, she was very active cleaning her yard. When my brother, sister and I would visit her and Grandma Boone, Great Grandma would kiss all of us on the top of our heads after we climbed up in her bed.
She has some of her family members who are also buried in the same cemetery. Her mother (Harriet Winningham) is also buried in the same cemetery.
