Mrs. Cecil (Rosa Z. Wheat) Aldridge, 70, of Decatur, formerly of Altamont, died 10 p.m. Wednesday (March 21, 1990) in her home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Lockart & Sons Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Strasburg.
Mrs. Aldridge was born in Strasburg, daughter of Frank and Mary Louise Wheat. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Decatur. She married Cecil Aldridge in 1933. He died in 1988.
Surviving are her sons, Cecil of Harristown; Bennie of Chestnut; Robert of Woodville, Texas; daughters, Joyce DeClercq, Mary Ashby and Debra Rose Gensler, all of Decatur; sister, Viola Hill of Bethalto; 16 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-stepgrandchildren.
