Services for Mrs. Betty Wheat Allbritton, 40, of Ripley, Miss., was at 2 p.m. Wednesday in New Union Baptist Church in Tullos with the Revs. John Bukhead and Charles Moore officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia.

Mrs. Allbritton died Monday in William F. Bowld Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., after a long illness.

Mrs. Allbritton was a former resident of Columbia.

Survivors include her husband, Elwin Allbritton of Ripley; two sons, Mark Allbritton and Jeffrey Allbritton, both of Ripley; her mother, Mrs. Christine Wheat of Columbia; a brother, Dan Wheat of Hebertville, Texas; and five sisters, Mrs. Helen Hart of Houston, Mrs. Lee Pace and Mrs. Dorothy Watson, both of West Monroe, Mrs. Mamie White of Pineville, and Mrs. Lillian Herbert of Rome, Ga.
