Mrs. Margarett Allen Dead.
Mrs. Margaret Allen, mother of Mr. M. W. Allen, of this city, died at her home in Birmingham last Saturday. Mr. M. W. Allen was called to the bedside of his mother, but she had expired before he reached her. The interment took place in *Macon, Ga., on Monday morning. Mrs. Allen was 73 years of age. She was a most excellent character and had imparted her many Christian virtues to a large family of boys and girls, who are left to mourn her departure. The Sun joins their friends here in extending sympathy to the bereaved.
*Note: Margaret, her children Hattie and George Allen's obituaries all state they were buried in Macon, GA. At some point the remains were removed to Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham.
