Services for Al Whitaker of 2941 Walnut Road, who died at 2:30 yesterday afternoon, will be at 2:30 this afternoon at National Funeral Home. Burial will be in Big Creek Cemetery near Lucy. Mr. Whitaker had been ill three years. He formerly had operated a shoe repair shop in Millington. Born in Alamo, Tenn., he moved to Millington in 1910. He was a member of Evergreen Presbyterian Church here. His wife, the former Miss Veola Keathley, died in 1955. He leaves two sons, Lloyd Eugene Whitaker of Memphis, and John Aubrey Whitaker of Mason, Tenn.; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Erickson of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Jessie R.
