Mrs. Gertrude Whitaker Ables of the Harms community died Thursday at Lincoln Regional Hospital.
The funeral was Saturday at Higgins Funeral Home. Jack Jean and Eugene Peden officiated, and burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late James K. and Eula Mooney Whitaker and the wife of the late Roy Ables, who died in 1975. She was a farm manager and homemaker and a member of the Harms Church of Christ.
Survivors include a brother, T. J. Whitaker of the Coldwater community.
