Nashville -- Graveside services for Irma Whitaker Anderson, 100, of Nashville will be held Thursday, Jan 9, at 11 a.m. at Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone Community of Jackson County.
The family will receive friends at Anderson Funeral Home today, Jan. 8, from 3-8 p.m.
Mrs. Anderson died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, at her home in Nashville.
Born June 22, 1902, in Missouri, she was the daughter of the late David Whitaker and Zula Harris Whitaker Chapman.
Mrs. Anderson was retired teacher, who taught in Jackson County for many years. She attended Burritt College and Tennessee Tech University and was a member of Granny White Church of Christ in Nashville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl T. Anderson, who died on Nov. 22, 1995, and two sisters, Georgia and Edith Whitaker.
