Eleanor A. (Wilbur) Adams 91 of Berkley, died Friday March 6, 1998 at the Oak Hill Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was the widow of Vernon D. Adams.
Born in Taunton, daughter of the late George E. and Emma E. (Westgate) Wilbur, Mrs. Adams was a member of the Myricks United Methodist Church in Berkley.
She was employed by Plymouth Shoe Company of Middleboro as a shoe worker until her retirement.
Mrs. Adams was a member of the Happy Hearts Club of Berkley.
Survivors include a son, two stepsons, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 10 AM Monday at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, which is also handling the arrangements.
