Frances M. (Wilbur) Alt, 93, of Liverpool, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Lysander, NY. Frances retired in 1975 after working 22 years with the Liverpool Central School District. Her husband of 60 years, Henry Alt, predeceased her on June 15, 2000. Surviving are her niece, Marlene J. Tears of Honeoye, NY; nephew, Harvey E. (Patricia) Gumaer of Costa Mesa, CA; great-nephew, James C. Francis of Caledonia, NY; great-niece, Janelle Gumaer of Costa Mesa; a great-great-nephew and a great-great-great-nephew. Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 1 p.m. at Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery, town of Lysander. Contributions may be made to Elderwood Care at Birchwood, 4800 Bear Road, Liverpool, NY 13088.
