Alverda "Sally" Gee Alexander, 82, of Park Hill Manor, Wellsboro, died Saturday, 7 Feb 2004 at Carleton Nursing Home, Wellsboro, Tioga County PA.
She was the wife of Bernard H. "Barney" Alexander.
She was a homemaker/housewife; member of the 55 Club, Morris; volunteer at the Wellsboro Senior Center for many years; and was involved with Meals on Wheels.
She was preceded in death by a son, Harlan James Gee; son-in-law, David Converse; brothers, Donald, Bud, Jack and Neil Wilbur; sister, Zelma Behanna; one great grandson; and one great granddaughter.
Surviving other than her husband are sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Janice Gee of Westfield, Jerry and Marilyn Gee of Cherry Flats, Randy and Liz Gee of Stony Fork, John and Linda Gee of Middlebury Center; daughters and sons-in-law, Kay Converse of Hopkinton, NY, Patti and Tom Wilson of Blackwell, Debbie and Tim Jelliff of Elizabethtown; 23 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Aaron and Phyllis Wilbur of Middlebury Center; sisters and brothers-in-law, Arlene Hamblin of Middlebury Center, Verna Gearhart of North Carolina, Bonnie and Bert Hamblin of Gaines, Beryl and Dick Sawyer of Marsh Creek.
Burial was made at Cherry Flats Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Vernon Van Ness officiating.
