Margaret Williams was born to Samuel (1805-16 Apr, 1882) and Judith Willett (see link). Samuel Williams was born in Canada. Margaret grew up near the Ohio border in Medina, Lenawee County. While Margaret and her father were in Marysville, Ohio on a horse buying trip, she met Robert A Glassford. They were married in 1867. They lived mostly in Capac, St. Clair County and farmed Robert's parent's farm near this cemetery. After Robert's death, Margaret lived with daughter Grace Gillett in Lansing and helped raise her two children.
