ABERDEEN - Pearl Mae Williams Frye, 83, of Aberdeen died Saturday, May 23 at First Health Moore Regional in Pinehurst.


Funeral service will be held Monday, May 25 at 10:00 am at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Gregg Newton officiating. Burial will follow at Culdee Presbyterian Church Cemetery.


Born June 4, 1925 in Eagle Springs to the late Herbert Lee and Ruthie Martin Williams, she was a retired floral designer and mother to MANY. She was a life member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.


She is survived by a son James "Jimmy" Frye of Southern Pines; a daughter Phyllis Jane Styers of King, NC; brothers Henson Williams of Spartanburg, SC, James Williams and Raymond Williams, both of Southern Pines, and Leon Williams of West End; sisters Ruth Frye of Aberdeen, Nancy Sheffield of Southern Pines and Betty Sewell of Carthage; five grandchildren Lindsey Frye Sweetwood, Zane Styers, Meghan Styers Wood, Zachary Styers, and Corey Frye.


Family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines.


In lieu of flowers, Pearl requested that memorials be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Parking Lot Fund, P.O. Box 386, Southern Pines, N.C. 28388.
