Rose J. Breeden, 74, of Fort Dodge, died Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 19th in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Hatton, Pastor of First Evangelical Free Church officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of service at the funeral home.

Surviving is her husband, Ed; daughters, Rose Mary Winchester and her husband Russell of Bourbonnais IL, Lori Breeden of Fort Dodge, Kerri Holm and her husband Thomas of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Corey, Patrick, Matthew, Misty, Tommy, Jared and Lindsey; 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Rose (Barr) Williams; an infant sister, Betty Williams; a granddaughter, Tammy Keigher Wessel; and a brother, Paul Williams.

Rose J. Williams was born December 22, 1934 in Fort Dodge, Iowa where she attended school. On September 2, 1950 she was united in marriage to Edward B. Breeden and they established their home in Fort Dodge. Rose was a homemaker. She dedicated her life to her family and the Lord. She was a very compassionate person and would do anything she could to help when someone was in need. Her passion was her love for the Lord and she wanted everyone to know about it. She was a true witness of God's love and now she is at home with her Lord Jesus.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
