Fred C. Williams, 64, of Fort Dodge, died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 26th in the chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Henderson, Pastor of St Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Surviving are his daughters, Debbie Rokes and her husband Tom, and Pam Williams-Witte and her husband Danny, all of Fort Dodge; grandsons, Heath, Tanner, Daulton and Charles; step-mother, Margaret Williams of Fort Dodge; brother, Doc Williams and his wife Carole of Fort Dodge; sister, Karen Shipman and her husband Burdette of Fort Dodge; step-sister, Mari Holst of St. Louis, MO; girlfriend, Jan Benning and her family. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maureen (Hepperle) Williams, and his wife, Jan in 2003.
Fred C. Williams was born August 20, 1942 in Fort Dodge, Iowa where he attended school. On January 21, 1961 he was united in marriage to Jan Harrison at St Paul Lutheran Church and they established their home in Fort Dodge. In 1962, Fred became employed at Iowa Beef where he worked for several years. He then worked in the restaurant business for many, many years, including Lamplighter, Fast Freddies, The Stadium Inn, and the Sandstone Inn until he retired due to ill health.
Fred enjoyed golfing, driving his 57 Chevy, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He was a member of the Noon Lions Club.
