Leslie Marie Mills of Grand Blanc, age 55, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Father Roy Horning officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County. Visitation 12-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 12 noon Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Tess was born in Washington DC on September 18, 1956 daughter of the late Thomas and Lola Wiman. On September 17, 1999 she married Kevin Mills in Flint.
She was an avid reader, loved watching home improvement shows and doing things for others. Tess was employed with Dollar General Stores.
Surviving are husband, Kevin; brothers, Jack and wife Jeanette, Mike and wife Susan; sisters, Alicia and husband Sherman Powelson, Pam Wiman, Debbie Wiman, Karen and husband Buck Weaver; brother-in-law, Jeff and wife Allyson Mills; sister-in-law, Mallory Mills;
special mother-in-law, Evelyn Mills; nieces, Nicole Mills, Carrie Weaver, Courtney, Candace, Carli and Cayla Messler.
