Mary Louise Wofford Allen, age 79, beloved wife of 59 years to Bobby Leroy Allen, died on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at her residence.
Born on March 29, 1935 in Woodruff, she was the daughter of the late J.B. and Ruth Littlefield Wofford. Mrs. Allen was a talented crafter and owned Allen Crafts. She worked for Newton's Florist. She loved gardening, painting and sewing. Over the years, she sewed many clothing pieces for children missions abroad. She was a member of the Good Sam Camping Club, Troop F, Sumter Crafters Guild, and the New Start Church of the Nazarene. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Surviving in addition to her husband are: two sons both of Sumter; one daughter of Pontiac; and one brother of Blue Ridge; five grandchildren and; one step- granddaughter; four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Wofford.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 1:00pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm at Bullock Funeral Home and other times at the family home.
