Mrs. Alma Wofford Babb, 77, of 10 Leonard Street, Inman, SC, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010, at Regional Hospice Home, Spartanburg, SC. Mrs. Babb was born in Inman, SC, on June 24, 1932, the daughter of the late Joseph and Faye (Snow) Wofford and was the widow of Edward Lee Babb.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Babb of Boiling Springs, Brenda Turner and husband James of Conway, SC; two brothers, Bob Wofford and wife Barbara of Inman, Benny Wofford of Inman; two sisters, Dorothy Gregory of Mooresville, NC, JoAnn Gilreath and husband Don of Roebuck; one grandson, Jarvis Waters and wife Danielle of Inman; and great-granddaughter, Addyline Lee Waters of Inman. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, with Rev. Jack Dodds officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Inman, SC.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties, Inc., P.O. Box 1582, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
