Annie Ruth Wofford Brumley, 79, of 100 Briar Creek Road, died March 6, 2003, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late James Earl and Annie Wofford, and was the widow of W.E. Brumley. Before her retirement, she was a Dietitian with Pendleton Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Brumley was a member of Lee Road Baptist Church, The Joy Club and the Senior Choir.

Surviving are a brother, Calvin Hartwell Wofford, of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Jean Wofford, of Santa Rosa, Calif.; three nieces; four nephews; three great-nieces; and two great-nephews. She was predeceased by two husbands; two brothers; and a sister.

Memorials may be made to Lee Road Baptist Church, Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, 1503 E. Lee Road, Taylors, SC 29687.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2003, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, with visitation, prior to the service, from 12:30 to 1:15. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The families are at their respective homes.
