OMAHA — Jane Baker, 74, passed away May 14, 2016, in Omaha. She was a beloved mother, grandma and great-grandma.
She was born on April 24, 1941, and adopted by Ralph and Vera Wolcott. Jane grew up in Grand Island and graduated from Grand Island High School in 1959. She married Michael Baker on Sept. 3, 1960. They had three daughters, Becky, Sarah and Amy, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Jane enjoyed many different activities and had a custom frame shop in Colorado. Over the years, she also was a realtor, sold Tupperware and worked retail. She and Mike were involved with their church, Chapel of Our Savior, in Colorado.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Kremer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Jon Baker.
