Private A M Wright, Cameron Highlanders, who was killed in action in France on 19th July, was the son of Mr Charles Wright, gas inspector, and Mrs Wright, 11 Richmond Terrace, Aberdeen. After serving his apprenticeship in the yard of Messrs A Hall and Company, shipbuilders, Aberdeen, Private Wright, who was 24 years of age, went to Glasgow where he was employed in the Broadmore Works. At the outbreak of the war he went to Inverness to join the Cameron Highlanders, with whom he saw a good deal of active service.
