Jerry was born August 12, 1948, in Fairfield, to Dellos and Opal (Wagner) Wylie. He married Elaine McGrew on November 19, 1982 in Flora.
Jerry worked for Keller Williams Realty in Plymouth, Michigan and had been a Fairfield area Real Estate Agent/Broker and businessman for many years prior to moving to Michigan.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of North Ridge Church in Plymouth, Michigan.
Survivors include his wife: Elaine Wylie; two sons: Scott and Ben Wylie; a granddaughter: Ella Grace Wylie; two sisters: Kathryn Moore and Janet Kosky; two brothers: Charles T. and Leo Wylie; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service for Jerry A. Wylie was held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora, with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
