Mrs. Ruby Ann Yarborough, 36, of 132 N. Commerce Ave., died Saturday at 11:15 p.m. at the University of Virginia Hospital.
Mrs. Yarborough was born Nov. 2, 1925, in Adial, the daughter of Mrs. Lucy Henderson Carter of Waynesboro, and the late Samuel Ashby Carter.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Philip Hudson Yarborough; three sons, Jeffrey Yarborough, 12 years, Samuel Yarborough, 9, and Philip, 8; three daughters, Mrs. Anita Landes, Waynesboro, Phyllis Yarborough, 14, and Mary Jane Yarborough, 6; also two sisters, Mrs. Julian (Lillian) Ramsey of Greenfield, and Mrs. Ralph (Ruth) Hiden, of Waynesboro; one brother, John W. Carter, San Jose, Calif.; also two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the Etter Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Glenn Dobbins, assisted by the Rev. Ralph M. Piland, with burial in Hebron Baptist Church cemetery at Avon.
The active pallbearers will be John Garber, William Baylor, J. T. Jefferson Jr., David Beech and Warren Claytor.
There will be no public viewing.
