Mrs. Betty Hathaway Yarborough, 87, went to be with her Lord on August 6, 2014.
Born in Portsmouth, VA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Hathaway and Isabelle Hathaway.
She was a former Professor at Old Dominion University.
Left to cherish her memory are her nephews, Joseph Hathaway, Jr., (Miriam), Grover Hathaway (Donna), Robert Hathaway (Virginia), John Hathaway (Emily) and Thomas Hathaway (Patti).
A memorial service was held at the First Presbyterian Church, 515 Court Street, Portsmouth.
Interment was in Olive Branch Cemetery in Portsmouth.
