Jo Jeanine Yarborough, 77, a longtime resident of Newport News, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006.
Jo attended Liberty Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will also be remembered by her family for her love of roses, old westerns and shopping on QVC.
Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, George Yarborough; four children, Edna J. Diaz, Doris P. Emerson, Deborah K. Lentz and Nancy P. Lewis; four grandchildren, Christina, Bethany, Joseph and Kathleen; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joe Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Gloucester Volunteer Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 1417, Gloucester, VA 23061.
