YOUNG, CHARLENE MAE
August 17, 1937 to August 10, 2005, Lakewood, CO; beloved wife of 48 years to Rex; mother of Toni (Walter) Grant, Richard Young and Juli Lentz; grandmother of Jessica, Natalie, Scott, Derek, Branda and Savannah; great grandmother of Alivia Charlene; and sister of Elaine (Bob) Gilg. She graduated from Rock County High School in Bassett, Nebraska in 1955. Charlene spent most of her working life at the Jefferson County Hall of Justice, Golden, CO, as a County Court Clerk to various judges, retiring in 1997 as Division Clerk for the Chief Justice of the District Courts. She was a loving mother, a loyal friend and a staunch helpmate whose smile we will not forget. She will be deeply missed by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Lakewood Church of Nazarene, on Tuesday, August 16th with viewing at noon and service at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association 1-888 342 2383.
