Sharon Rott Faltisek, 70 of El Campo, passed away on August 8, 2013. She was born on September 15, 1942 in Seagraves, Texas to Edward and Ann Rott Zalman.
She is survived by her husband John, daughter Jill Herrmann and husband Perry of El Campo, son John Faltisek Jr and wife Ginger of Louise, grandchildren Parker Herrmann, Ryan Herrmann, Jay Faltisek, Kaylee Morton, and Nick Morton.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, son Kevin Faltisek, sister Phyllis Bloomfield Boswell and brother Bruce Zalman.
Visitation will begin at 2 pm on Sunday, August 11, 2013 with a Rosary recited at 5 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Monday, August 12, 2013 at St. Philip Catholic Church with the Reverend Albert Yankey officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Perry Herrmann, Parker Herrmann, Grover Hargrove, Robert Dittert, Quinten Kubala, and Bill Kubala. Honorary pallbearers are Vernon (Sonny) Kelley, Mike Brodsgaard, Clarence Cykala, Bud Carter, and Val Hargrove.
Memorial donations in honor of Sharon may be made to Houston Hospice Inc. or St. Philip Catholic Church.
