Loretta Ruth Zalman Painter left this earth to be with her Lord on Friday, November 11, 2016. She was born on August 30, 1941 to the late Kathyrn and Walter Zalman. Loretta married Larry Painter on May 30, 1959.
She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Stewardson, Illinois.
Loretta will be greatly missed by her husband Larry of Stewardson, Illinois; children, Debra Debord and husband Billy, Virginia; Donna Cook and husband Don, Stewardson, Illinois; Delina Willis and husband Kevin Effingham, Illinois; Daniel Painter and wife Dennise Stewardson; 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, two brothers, four sisters and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Beth Brown.
Funeral Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2016 with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stewardson, Illinois. Burial will be in Stewardson Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran School in Stewardson, Illinois, or the American Cancer Society.
