He was born Feb. 2, 1920, in New York City and attended St. John's University, New York. He was active in sports and was associated with the New York Yankees and the Kansas City Basketball club. After the war, he lived in California and Hawaii and was in the retail and wholesale sporting-goods business. He married M. Phyllis Woodbridge in February 1961 in San Francisco. They lived in Honolulu and Sausalito, Calif. They moved to Caldwell in 1969, where he was sales manager, plant manager and, at the time of his death, he was a division vice president of Gladdng Copr., of Boston, and manager of Glenn L. Evans, Inc., Caldwell.
Surviving are his wife, and a son, Jeb, both of Caldwell; two brothers, Charles, Las Vegas and Anthony, Seaford, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. arbara Gibbs, Pacifica, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a stepfather and a sister.
