Catherine O. DAVISSON, 81, Rochester, died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday at the Life Care Center where she had been a resdent for eight years.
Born in Frankfort to Earl and Edith JONES REED, she married Russell DAVISSON in 1934 in Frankfort; he died Sept. 22, 1988. She had lived on Fulton Avenue having moved to Rochester from Chatsworth, Ill.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. William (Thelma) BOWLING, Farmington, N.Y.,, Mrs. Eugene (Betty) SUTTON, Rochester, Mrs. Darlene ECKER, Shasta Lake, Calif., Mrs. Kenneth (Patricia) BACHTOLD, Sibley, Ill.; a son John Edward DAVISSON, Arkansas; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was precded in death by a grandson.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Rick DuFORD officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled. Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, Rochester, is in charge of arrangements.
