Elma Dixon, 85, of E. Hickory St., died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 1985, at Central Community hospital, Clifton, where she had been a patient a week.
Her funeral was at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Culkin-Diggle Funeral home, Chatsworth, Rev. Harley Curtis officiating. A graveside service was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.
She was born Dec. 1, 1899, at Fairfield, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Gray. She married Elsworth Dixon, Dec. 15, 1921, in El Paso. He died July 20, 1983.
Survivors include a son, Dean, Melbourne, Fla.; two brothers, Ralph, Bloomington and Marions, Florida; a sister, Geneva Cadell, Edinburg, Tex.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Dixon was a member of the First Baptist church of Chatsworth.
