Johnie T. Gwin, age 86, of Adger, AL passed away Friday, May 15, 2015. Mr. Gwin retired from the Army National Guard, he was a member of the American Legion, a member of the Bible Baptist Church and he retired from the city of Bessemer after thirty six years of service.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home with burial following in Prudes Creek Cemetery. Bro. Tony Wilmoth and Bro. Brent Higginbotham will be officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, May 18, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
