Barbara Kay Howell, 62, passed away on Monday May 9, 2005.

Bobbi was an RN working in the operating room, for 20 plus years in various hospitals in Texas. She graduated from the Brackenridge School of Nursing in 1965, earned her bachelor of science in health professions in 1988. She also worked for the health department for the last 15 years in the regulatory services division.

She is survived by husband, Jerry Howell of Florence; daughter, Donna Howell of Florence; son, Michael Howell of Schertz; brother, Toby Sinclair of Austin; sister, Rebecca Sinclair of San Antonio; and many other relatives and friends who both loved and respected her.

Preceding her in death was her son, Thomas Howell, in 1986.

The family received guests for a visitation from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at the Young Memorial Chapel in Florence. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Florence with Reverend Troy Allen officiating. Interment followed at Florence City Cemetery in Florence.
