Gladys H. Hoyle, 89, of Lake Geneva, Wis., formerly of Chatsworth, died Wednesday (March 1, 1995) at Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, Wis. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva, the Rev. David J. Braun officiating. Burial will be in the St. Francis de Sales Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Derrick Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Mrs. Hoyle was born Dec. 5, 1905, at Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of Homer and Bertha Seegmuller Gillette. She married John Bouhl Jan. 24, 1924, at Chatsworth. He died Aug. 27, 1961. She married Frank Hoyle on May 5, 1967, at Evanston. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Kenneth Bouhl and Keith Bouhl, both of Lake Geneva, Wis.; two stepsons, Robert Hoyle, Port Angeles, Wash., and Patrick Hoyle, Tacoma, Wash.; one sister, Norma Martin, Chatsworth; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Two sons and six brothers preceded her in death. Mrs. Hoyle graduated from Chatsworth Township High School in 1922 and from Chicago School of Nursing in 1932. She worked for Saint James Hospital in Pontiac and Fairbury Hospital in Fairbury, retiring from nursing in 1962. She moved to Lake Geneva in 1975.
