Imogene Carty Keeton, age 77, of Williamstown, Kentucky formally of Magoffin County, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 23, 2011, at her residence.

She was born July 13, 1933, in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Edgar and Ruie Penix Carty.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Ovie Carty and Ernest Carty, one daughter, Donna Faye Keeton.

Survivors include her husband Ralph Keeton, one son, Darrell Keeton of Salyersville, Kentucky, four daughters, Darlene Keeton and Joanne Denney of Williamstown, Kentucky, Connie Keeton and Ora Webb of Cincinnati, Ohio. five brothers, Arnold Carty, Max Carty, Arlen Carty, Dorsie Carty and James Carty all of Salyersville, Kentucky, four sisters, Molly Jackson, Glenda Minix and Brenda Carty all of Salyersville, Kentucky and Marlene Hall of Columbus, Ohio, three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at at 11:00 a.m.. Friday, May 27, 2011, from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel, with Jeffery Neil Bailey and Timothy Keeton officiating. Burial will be in the Carty Cemetery in Stinson, Ky.

Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, all day Thursday and anytime prior to service on Friday the funeral home.
