Mrs. Kathryn Bast Martin, 34, of 1411 North 7th Street, Manitowoc, died late Friday morning, March 30, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and 9:30 at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Leo J. Schmitt with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Martin, nee Kathryn Ann Bast, was born August 21, 1949 at Manitowoc, daughter of Evarist and Margaret Lax Bast. Mrs. Martin attended Holy Innocents Parochial School, Woodrow Wilson Junior High and Lincoln High School, graduating with the class of 1967. Mrs. Martin also attended Milwaukee Area Technical College, graduating with the nursing class of 1970. Mrs. Martin was presently employed at Rainbow House, Manitowoc. She was a member of Oncology Nursing Association and American Cancer Society. She married Dr. Lynn T. Martin, July 1, 1978, at Holy Innocents Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Lynn T. Martin of Madison; her parents, Evarist and Margaret Bast of Manitowoc; a brother, Michael Bast of Manitowoc; also other relatives and friends survived.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday evening where a prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. led by Deacon William Klein. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the donors choice.
